Crawling

We now have a mobile boy.
November 20th, Daddy and Eamon had a night alone. When I got home and climbed in to bed, Brendan said "the baby is crawling. Write it on the calendar. Today is the day." Now, we have seen this baby inchworming, army-style crawling, and out-of-water butterfly for the past month. But we have not seen a coordination of hands and feet so Eamon can actually get anywhere. I wrote "Eamon crawls" on the calendar and went to bed.
November 21st was a Friday, a great day for Eamon to sit on the floor and play with his toys while I vacuum the room and hall. I sat our little monster down with his toys and went to pick up the vacuum ten feet away. As I turned it on, I noticed that Eamon was right next to me. So, I brought him back to his giant mound of toys, only to get back to the vacuum to find him right beside me. So, we sat and watched him play. He was panting as he continued to race to the vacuum after I repeatedly brought him back to his toys.
Needless to say, vacuuming was put off until later in the evening when Eamon could be entertained by daddy.

FIRST two TEETH

November 4th was a day to remember! All day, Eamon was a bear. It wasn't until later that evening, when the newcasters were fighting for our attention, that Eamon showed us his first pearly white! And not three days later... we had a second one! These teeth are getting bigger and bigger. It is no longer a baby's smile. He truly looks like a little boy now. And though they are adorable and we love those little chompers, we do indeed miss the toothless smile. Especially when he bites off some paper and we have to go fish around in that teeth-infested mouth to find it. That little bugger!
